Cappuccino?

Having been up since 4 AM, I had double my normal coffee this morning.

When it came time for our afternoon snuggle, we hid in the covers to warm up. The caffeine worked. I was not sleepy. My mind was racing and I had the jitters.

I was watching my DH suckle. Usually my mind savors the picture of the soft white mound ending at his mustache, and the way it jiggles just a little with the movement of his lips. I burn a mental picture to daydream on later. Today it had that picture burned in record time and needed another place to go.

With my thoughts racing because of the caffeine, they jutted around but never totally left the sensation of his lips on my nipple. My thoughts were on breasts, breast milk, him consuming it, and my trying to relax and overcome the jitters.

I suddenly remembered that caffeine passes through to breast milk. Then my mind jumps to a post I read, where a gentleman teased his wife about looking for the chocolate and strawberry flavor knobs so he could add some to her milk. Rocketing off that thought…, I said to my DH, “I wonder if I drank enough coffee, would cappuccino come out?”

It got a chuckle from him, because he drinks a cappuccino every morning that is mostly cream. He has the sexiest chuckle…, which then sent my mind racing to other areas.

Who needs wine to get the thoughts in motion, when the friction of them bouncing around the brain haphazardly heats everything up?

Love your site. Love the new look. I came to know of your site only a couple of days ago but I’ve become addicted to it now. Perhaps because this is like a fantasy of mine, though my husband is not really into it. So it might always just remain a fantasy… but at least I can read of your experiences and live vicariously.

Thank you for commenting on my site and the new look. I appreciate that you took the time to respond. It is so nice to have an idea of who is out there looking in.

I will hope with you, that your husband’s appetite for you grows.

I hear there are breast milk recipes for almost any kind of milk product imaginable. Have you tried replacing his coffee creamer with your own milk? That might be something worth trying.

Unless, of course, he likes his coffee black instead.

He doesn’t even like coffee. LOL. He masks the flavor with LOTS of cream and vanilla. There was a couple times when we were on the road and could not find a private place to stop and “take care of the girls.” I resorted to hand expressing into his cappuccino cup. I am sure there wasn’t enough to taste the difference among all the cream that was already in there. (Hey, it’s the thought that counts. LOL. ) I got some relief, and he got a kick out of it.

If the description of breastmilk’s flavour is even half-way true, I think he wouldn’t need the extra cream in his cappacino with your own milk in there. “Melted vanilla ice cream?”

Maybe it’s time to look for a “breast milk cookbook.”

I don’t have THAT much milk yet, besides… I like the suckling too much to begin pumping for cooking. As long as I have his lips near by, which is most of the time, I am going to take full advantage of them. :-) I gave away my pump a couple weeks ago. I will hand express when I have too. It shouldn’t be frequent enough to need a pump.

I put some on my finger. It does tasted like melted vanilla ice cream.

Road trips are a hard time if you’re nursing, so i would assume that it would be even more difficult in an ANR or while inducing. There’s not much privacy on the open road.

I’ve seen my reflection at times during it, and it’s interesting to see. I was surprised at how comfortable it looked, given how awkward I had guessed it would look.
