There is something so beautiful about the woman in this painting. I wonder what she ponders as she pours the milk she labored for. The table displays a bounty of food; the colors and textures of the painting arouse a very romantic feeling within me…it pleases my eye.

This woman is robust and feminine all at the same time; she wears the appropriate attire for her position, time period and season.

Who is she? Is she a young girl of 16? A mother? daughter? sister? If she is married, does she nurse her husband? I never would have thought that in my previous life. But now I can’t help but wonder.

What do you picture in your mind’s eye when you think of a milkmaid?

Of course the funnest uses are not mentioned; like… as an always handy and flavored lube. Or as a weapon to shoot your lover in the eye. It can also be used to mark your territory. (“Hey what is that smell?” Or “What are all those spots on your glasses?”) You know the road trip was adventurous when you have to clean the spots off the dashboard and the inside of the windshield.

Having been up since 4 AM, I had double my normal coffee this morning.

When it came time for our afternoon snuggle, we hid in the covers to warm up. The caffeine worked. I was not sleepy. My mind was racing and I had the jitters.

I was watching my DH suckle. Usually my mind savors the picture of the soft white mound ending at his mustache, and the way it jiggles just a little with the movement of his lips. I burn a mental picture to daydream on later. Today it had that picture burned in record time and needed another place to go.

With my thoughts racing because of the caffeine, they jutted around but never totally left the sensation of his lips on my nipple. My thoughts were on breasts, breast milk, him consuming it, and my trying to relax and overcome the jitters.

I suddenly remembered that caffeine passes through to breast milk. Then my mind jumps to a post I read, where a gentleman teased his wife about looking for the chocolate and strawberry flavor knobs so he could add some to her milk. Rocketing off that thought…, I said to my DH, “I wonder if I drank enough coffee, would cappuccino come out?”

It got a chuckle from him, because he drinks a cappuccino every morning that is mostly cream. He has the sexiest chuckle…, which then sent my mind racing to other areas.

Who needs wine to get the thoughts in motion, when the friction of them bouncing around the brain haphazardly heats everything up?

My re-inducing journal starts at the end of week three. Today I remembered something from our first day. It reminded me how I first enticed my DH to pay more attention to my breasts that first week.

My DH, when he was home from work, would often try to sneak opportunities to put his hands on me and start something. We still have children at home. There is something happening every waking hour. This doesn’t leave much opportunity. I try not to give him the, “Not now, Honey.” response, but he can pick the worst times to try and sneak me away.

The tables were turned that week. I had been having dreams about him being at my breasts and my nipples were desiring attention. So, not only did I want to sneak away with him, I particularly wanted his lips on my nipples.

Now how do I tell him this? I was kind of embarrassed.

I came up with an idea. I would treat it as a gift.

I went over and put my arms around his neck and whispered in his ear. I told him, “I love you. For two weeks, anytime you want, you can pull me away, lift my shirt, and suck on my nipples.”

He just said, “Oh boy!” He took my hand right then and pulled me off to a bedroom and closed the door.

He knew I had made a promise and I could not say no. He took full advantage of it. It lit my fire and he liked the fire. That was three months ago, and I have not informed him that his two weeks are up.

Mammatus clouds

The name “mammatus” is derived from the Latin mamma (breast), due to the resemblance between the shape of these clouds and human female breasts.
