Weekends are wonderful. As much as I enjoy the the rhythm of the Monday through Friday schedules, I always look forward to the rare weekends when there is no need to watch the clock. We got out of bed when we were ready too, not when we “had too.” We ate when we got hungry, not on a clock. We rushed or hurried, only because it felt good, and we started and stopped whatever we were doing because, well just because. No reason needed.

With a family as large as mine, rarely is there a day that is flexible and not dependent on the clock. Today though, was one of those days. We took advantage of today’s freedom to live by impulse. We got in the extra snuggling times and they lasted longer than we are usually allowed.

Is this what it will be like when we are retired? I wonder if then, we will miss the hustle and bustle of a large family and businesses to run like clock work. I have to admit the challenge of stealing away some time, and splurging those moments on “quickies” lends to some excitement. Spontaneous bursts of pent up passion snuck into impossible schedules…

Well for now, that is the norm. So it is nice to get a day like today… a day where every longing, every ache, gets answered.

The first week of November will be my two year “re-inducing” anniversary. We took a couple months off of our normal bosoming during the middle of 2010. I had had surgury last Christmas, and I was having a hard time recovering. Six months after my surgery my husband told me that he wanted me to put my body’s energy of producing milk into getting completely well instead. We never gave up bosoming all together. We still occasionally fell asleep bosoming, or engaged in it during foreplay. But we had cut back enough that my milk was reduced to a few drops that only showed up when I was aroused.

We have begun to “re-induce” the flow milk the last couple of weeks. I don’t know what made the change in my husband’s desire, but recently he voiced his desire to bring back the milk. So we are back to bosoming more than morning and night, and trying to get bosoming in 4 to 5 times a day.

Because we never quit completely, the drops turned in to an occasional spray within the matter of a week. I am also feeling that aching in my breasts and under my arms again. It is a good feeling, because I know it is a sign of progress.

We have planned a honeymoon of sorts for the first weekend in November. Since it will be our bosom anniversary, I have decided to try pumping this week. My pump came in today. I will let you know how that works out. It is a manual pump, because an electric one is both too noisy and too large to keep secret from our children. It would be an extra nice treat to have milk flow, or at least consistent sprays back by our special weekend. I am planning on a two to three hour schedule, working the pump in between our normal bosoming times.

The intense intimacy and the stark naked vulnerability returned immediately with the re-commitment to set aside more intimate time together. I had not noticed that it had faded some, but now that the intensity is back it is obvious that it had. I am looking forward with excitement to our special weekend without the children.

A little peek into this woman’s world:

I use to go to the salon to get my hair colored until a couple years ago. I enjoyed the monthly pampering, but I was getting less and less pleased with the results.

I decided to color my hair at home. I have tried many brands and formulations starting with the most expensive, (thinking you get what you pay for.) Still not satisfied, I kept trying until I found one I liked, working my way down the price range.

I finally found one that ends up the color I was looking for, gives me complete coverage, and makes my hair feel soft. In less than an hour I can freshen up my color and shine. It makes me feel good.

As I was coloring my hair yesterday, I thought about how good it is to be a woman and get away with pampering myself. It also crossed my mind that I can share a few things about me, (like my hair color,) and still keep my identity anonymous.

I like doing my own facials and painting my own nails. I have strong nails and I keep them long naturally. If I am in a big city waiting on my husband while he attends a meeting, I will get a manicure just for the pampering, but I always like the results better when I do it myself.

I like being a woman… buying panties and bras. I like buying bras more than I like wearing them. It is rare for me to get out of a department store with out buying something from the lingerie department. It doesn’t matter if it is Macy’s or WalMart. lol. Then about four or five times a year I end up buying some more erotic lingerie online.

Like many women, I like shoes. My husband would be happy with a pair of sneakers, a pair of dress shoes, (and being an outdoors man,) a couple pair of boots. He has more than that, because I buy them. lol. I can’t even tell you how many pair I have. Half of them are black, from flip flops with sparkles to boots.

I have never been into clothes and fashions like a lot of women. Instead, I really like my jeans. I have the bare necessities in office clothes… but my wardrobe is mostly some jeans, quite a few shoes, and lots of lingerie.

I like trying new pampering lotions, nail color, and hair products.

As much as I like the girly stuff… I am at home in the garden, with dirt under my nails, and my hair in a ponytail. I like to fish and hike with my family. I live in the woods in the middle of nowhere. If there was just one thing I could do every day, it would be sitting on my deck over looking my gardens and the creek with a cup of coffee or tea. In the winter I settle for a looking out the windows.

The name “mammatus” is derived from the Latin mamma (breast), due to the resemblance between the shape of these clouds and human female breasts.
